With a head office in Banbridge, Northern Ireland and facilities in GB, Ireland and Germany, Alternative Heat supply carbon reduction systems as well as modular mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to “mission critical” sectors such as data centres.
The company has several manufacturing facilities in Northern Ireland and has been growing at an exceptional rate over the last few years.
Their target customers are large multi-national corporations and our brief was to create a corporate video that helped them to build trust with that audience and demonstrate their capability to engineer their systems to the highest standards and meet very strict delivery deadlines on the projects they supply to.
The Alternative Heat model is offsite modular construction which minimises the time spent on site with customers while also reducing health and safety risks for on site workers.
For this promotional video project we recommended the use of a voiceover artist to tell the Alternative Heat story and this decision was made for a number of reasons.
Control of the narrative
With the target audience being large corporate organisations and the main objective being to build trust, it was felt that a polished delivery from a voiceover artist would allow for a calm, assured delivery – providing reassurance to the viewer that Alternative Heat had the confidence, the capability and the experience to deliver on their project requirements.
Easy to adapt to specific geographies
With a voiceover, it is possible to create additional versions of the video in different languages or using different accents should Alternative Heat be focusing on developing business in new markets in the future.
The existing video structure can remain with the current voiceover replaced with the new version.
Asset positioning in the sales process
This video is intended for use in the early stages of the sales process:
It was felt that with the primary objective being to build the viewer’s trust and confidence in Alternative Heat, a voiceover would be the bst way to achieve this.
The next stage of the sales process is to give potential customers a closer look at the organisation to allow them to build a more complete picture.
It is at this stage that we would recommend introducing the Alternative Heat team and customers through video assets such as:
