Social proof is a psychological and social phenomenon where people copy the actions of others in an attempt to better understand the behaviours that will lead to the desired outcome from any situation. As a result, case study and testimonial videos are a great addition to your marketing arsenal as you try to build trust with potential customers and maximise the potential for your product to be chosen as the best available solution to whatever problem being faced.
In the lead up to the 2025 edition of the CQMS trade show in Ireland, we worked with the show organisers to create a number of videos to be used to encourage potential exhibitors to get involved with the show.
CQMS is the only outdoor construction, quarry, mining and recycling equipment show that takes place in a quarry and where exhibitr can use the huge demonstration area to showcase their equipment in action.
We spoke to a number of previous exhibitors includeding EMS Machinery, Westport Equipment, Terex Washing Systems and Omega Crushing & Screening about their experience of exhibiting at CQMS since 2013 and the results it had delivered for their business.

This case study / testimonial video was created for Smiley Monroe – manufacturers of conveyor belts for a wide range of industries.
We spoke to their customer, RiverRidge Recycling about the experience of working with the Smiley Monroe ZipClip replacement conveyor belts at all of their Northern Ireland recycling facilities.

These were used on Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube Shorts and were created in both square and vertical formats.
For this testimonial video we visited Mallaghan Engineering in Northern Ireland to talk to them about how the Thrive.app for building employee engagement is used in a manufacturing business like theirs.
The manufacturing sector is an important one for Thrive.app and this case study was to be used to help them showcase the benefits of their app to manufacturing businesses.

This case study video showcases the relationship between SDG Construction Technology in Armagh, Northern Ireland and O’Reilly Concrete from Cavan, Ireland.
The video features interviews with several members of the O’Reilly Concrete team talking about the service they receive from the SDG team and why they continue to work with them.
This testimonial video features Coveya – a customer of Smiley Monroe – talking about their experience of working with the team to design a specific conveyor belt solution that they needed for the projects they work on.

This project was a collaboration between Zero Waste Scotland and CeeD – the Centre for Engineering Education and Development – to highlight the work being done across the manufacturing industry in Scotland to progress towards Net Zero.

We created the testimonial videos below for Magic Beans – providers of an outsourced finance function for businesses.
In order to make shooting of this series as efficient as possible, all 4 videos were shot in the same studio environment consecutively over the course of one day.
This is a great way to maximise the efficiency of the shooting process while also creating a series of videos that have the same look and feel.
Citizen Ticket has worked as the ticketing partner for the Northern Ireland Science Festival for a number of years.
The Northern Ireland Science Festival is a multi-event festival that takes place across the country and as such has some unique challenges.
We visited several of the events as part of the 2023 festival and spoke to representatives of the Northern Ireland Science Festival to find out why they partnered with Citizen Ticket.
We worked with Flexibility Works and CeeD to create 3 case study videos demonstrating how flexible working practices have been introduced to the manufacturing industry in Scotland in recent times.
The intention of the campaign was to promote the advantages of flexible working both for the companies who had introduced the practices and their people.
This was one of a series of Customer Success Stories that we created for Swedish software company, Checkproof.
The focus for this project was their relationship with Cemex UK and how the use of their app had developed significantly since it was first introduced.
The video was filmed on location at Dove Holes Quarry in Buxton, Derbyshire and features footage from the aggregates, asphalt and concrete facilities operated at the site by Cemex UK.

This package of work was completed in 2022 and involved us visiting 4 of their customers in Dublin, Galway, Letterkenny and Magherafelt.

We created a version of this video with French subtitles for use by the sales team in conversation with French speaking customers.
A version of the video with Spanish subtitles was created for use by the sales team as well as on the Checkproof YouTube channel and website.
This Customer Success Video was completed for Thrive.app to showcase the impact their employee engagement app had for Biffa since it was introduced.
Biffa are one of the leading waste management companies in the UK – 85% of milk bottles in the UK contain some Biffa recycled plastic.
As a result of time constraints all the filming for this case study video was completed remotely, with existing photo and video assets used to help illustrate the work that Biffa do.

Kesla is a Finnish company that manufactures forestry equipment which is used across the world.
For this video we visited one of their customers in County Leitrim, Ireland to talk to them about why they chose the Kesla equipment over the other options available to them.
The Kesla equipment range is represented in Ireland by Oakleaf Forestry in County Tyrone and we were accompanied on the shoot by a representative from the local Kesla distributors.
