International law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills is the lead sponsor of the Institute of Directors (NI) Women’s Leadership Conference which takes place to coincide with International Women’s Day.
Each year, the conference has a different theme and for this year the theme was based on a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:
“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
The 2022 conference was a virtual event once again and we made the videos below for the Herbert Smith Freehills Belfast office to be used as part of their opening address to the conference.
The first video features Lyn Harris of HSF Belfast talking about their sponsorship of the conference and introducces the main video.
The second video features 3 women from the HSF global team – 2 based in Northern Ireland and 1 from Johannesburg, South Africa talking about their own career experiences.
As a result of COVID-19 restrictions, the interviews with the HSF team for the main video were recorded remotely.
