We’re now members of the CeeD Scotland Network

We work with manufacturing companies across UK, Ireland, Europe and North America to produce content for sales & marketing, recruitment and internal communications and have joined CeeD as an Associate Member.

CeeD and BlueSky Video Marketing have worked together on a number of projects since 2020 as a result of their shared interest in promoting careers in manufacturing and helping manufacturing companies to achieve their growth ambitions through the use of video marketing content and campaigns.

BlueSky Video Marketing brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the CeeD community with some very pragmatic approaches to helping businesses understand the ways to use video and marketing to help promote their business and providing a professional service to companies in delivering high quality assets

The work that BlueSky Video Marketing has already done with CeeD members includes:

Promoting innovation and growth strategies in manufacturing in a project funded by Scottish Enterprise.

This project involved profiling the investment stories of 6 CeeD members and you can watch 2 of the videos below.

Showcasing the CeeD Awards event in 2022 to promote the collaborative nature of the network and the successes being achieved by member companies.

BlueSky Video Marketing was also the sponsor of the Marketing award, which was won by Volvo Rokbak for their rebrand project. The award was presented to the Volvo Rokbak marketing team by Peter Craven, Creative Director at BlueSky Video Marketing.

Highlighting the Net Zero strategies of Scottish businesses in a project funded by Zero Waste Scotland

This project looked across different sectors to highlight the work being done by businesses in Scotland on the journey to Net Zero.

Working with CeeD and Flexibility Works to profile 3 companies that have introduced a variety of flexible working practices.

From a 4 day week to Flexi Time and part time hours, this series looks at how 3 Scottish businesses are using flexible working practices to help them attract and retain the best talent in a competitive recruitment environment.

We have enjoyed working with the CeeD members over the last few years on a number of really interesting video projects. The manufacturing sector represents almost two thirds of all the work we do and we have been particularly impressed by the level of collaboration and innovation in partnership with a ‘get things done’ attitude that aligns perfectly with our values. We hope to meet many more CeeD members in the not too distant future as we seek to build our profile in the Scottish manufacturing sector.”

BlueSky Video Marketing was founded in 2017 by Peter Craven after he spent 10 years working as Head of Marketing in a global manufacturer of sand and aggregate processing equipment in Northern Ireland. The agency has grown to a team of seven with almost 20 years manufacturing industry experience as well as more than 30 years film, tv and video production experience. The agency also works with a growing network of associates across Ireland, UK, Europe and USA to allow them to carry out projects for their clients, wherever they may be in the world.

“Because we work extensively in the manufacturing sector, the vast majority of our customers are involved in exporting their products all over the world” explains Peter. “We have built a network of trusted partners with the relevant manufacturing sector experience from Tayport to Texas to ensure we are able to make the video production process as easy as possible for our customers.”

CeeD and BlueSky Video Marketing will be collaborating on a number of events and webinars to help CeeD members enhance their video communications to drive future demand and position their organisations as an employer of choice.
